Photo Shoot Preparation
Here
are a few things that will help you have a flawless photo
shoot...
The eyebrow is the frame of the eye. A clean brow line is
a must for every shoot, and a good idea to keep up, as it
opens your eyes and allows more room to create drama and expression.
There are several methods. You can use the traditional way
of plucking eyebrows with tweezers. Professional salons can
use a razor for the more squeamish client, as waxing does
have a little pulling pain. My personal preference is waxing,
however, because it removes hair at the root, and lasts longer
than the other methods.
Drink plenty of water. Hydrating your body has innumerable
benefits, and specifically, it helps to clear your skin, and
eliminate dry skin and scalp, (healthy hair is a plus too).
Gentle exfoliation of the face and neck. You can find several
types of exfoliation products at your local grocery store,
beauty supply, or salon. By removing layers of dead skin cells,
this cleansing method helps to give the skin a smoother feel
and appearance for better make-up application and produces
a healthy glow.
Moisturize your lips with heavy lip moisturizer or Vaseline
the night before and the day of the shoot. This corrects chapped
lips, making them smoother so lipstick will adhere better.
Exercise regularly. Sweating is an extremely effective way
to release toxins in your body and skin. It decreases chance
of illness, and increases your confidence. Confidence is an
important tool in having a good photo shoot, and can be captured
on film.
